Why Families Choose Creekside

Not all boarding facilities are designed the same. Our cozy facility is nestled on 20 peaceful acres along Otter Creek in Elk, Washington—just a short drive north of Spokane. We keep things cozy so every dog and cat has a one-of-a-kind experience.

At Creekside, we've intentionally created a quieter, more personalized experience for dogs and cats who deserve thoughtful care and a low-stress environment.

  • Dogs from different households are never mixed

  • Individualized care based on your pet's routine and needs

  • Quiet country setting just outside Spokane

  • Spacious indoor and outdoor accommodations

  • Separate cat boarding area, separate from dogs

  • Special-needs, senior, and anxious pets welcome

  • Family-owned and owner-operated

  • Professional cleaning and sanitation standards

Whether your pet is outgoing and adventurous or more comfortable with a slower pace, our goal is the same: to provide a safe, comfortable place that feels as close to home as possible.

Locally Owned. Lovingly Operated.

Our Mission

We started Creekside Pet Lodge with a simple mission: to offer the kind of boarding we’d want for our own pets—warm, thoughtful, and trustworthy. As lifelong animal lovers, we’ve built a peaceful environment where all dogs and cats feel secure and loved, and pet parents feel confident.

Here’s what we’re committed to:

  • Maintaining a clean, calm, and enriching space

  • Creating personalized care plans for every guest

  • Practicing low-stress handling and positive routines

  • Keeping communication open before, during, and after each stay

From a nature setting to cozy dog runs, every detail reflects our belief that pets are family—and they deserve to be treated that way.

Meet the Owners

Hey there! We’re the Creekside Pet Lodge crew—animal‑obsessed locals who think boarding should feel more like a mini‑vacation than a kennel stay.

We noticed Spokane and surrounding areas have plenty of busy kennels—but no spots where anxious, unsocialized, or special needs pets could be boarded. So we combined our love of animals, knack for hospitality, and local roots to create a one of a kind facility.

Most importantly, Creekside Pet Lodge is a place for all dogs and cats — even those who struggle in traditional kennel settings or might not pass a behavior test. With extra patience and individualized care, we aim to give all pets a safe and cozy place to stay.
